What're the most fun and useful build hacks you can do with Ansible? You'll find out during this talk how to receive an SMS alert during lunch if something goes wrong with your latest build, hook your build pipeline into analytics infrastructure such as New Relic, and automate build status phone calls to micromanaging bosses. You'll learn how a few extra lines of code in your deployment process can make your developer life a whole lot easier.

Matt Makai (@mattmakai (https://twitter.com/mattmakai)) is a Twilio Developer Evangelist and Python stack web developer based in Washington, D.C. In 2013, Matt traveled to 30 cities in 5 months for his Coding Across America (http://www.codingacrossamerica.com/) project to learn from software communities outside the Beltway and apply those ideas to the D.C. tech scene. He was also a DjangoCon speaker in Chicago on "Making Django Play Nicely with Third Party Services (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGP8DQIqxXs)" as well as a speaker throughout the past year at Memphis Python, Omaha Python, Django Boston, DC Python, and San Francisco Django, and DC Continuous Delivery.
