Shorter Tegel loop, harbour, forest 13 km
Details
Meeting point is 13:20 am at S Tegel (S25 arriving at 13:19).
We'll be heading west to Tegel harbour and do a loop in the forest until we're back at Tegel harbour.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Tegel harbour, nice views
- Dunescape "Baumberge"
- some beaches (to remember for summer)
- most of the route is in the forest, a bit along the water
- at the beginning and/or end we'll say hello to the oldest tree of Berlin (just a few steps off our way)
Depending on the composition of the group, it should take us around
3 h 30 min to 4 h (breaks included).
Please don't forget to bring enough food, water and clothes according to the weather forecast.
There is not much opportunity to buy something to eat or drink on the way. At the start (center of Tegel), there are numerous shops.
Please, please, please try to be on time. If not, please understand that I cannot make +10 people waiting idly. I can share my live location for those who are late, but for the sake of the group (and my nerves) cannot communicate much via chats after we start.
I'm not a professional guide and according to Meetup rules not liable for anyone's safety. We're all grown-ups, everyone should be able to take responsibility for themselves.
