We would like to invite you to participate in a Power Hour to come up with ideas, prioritize actions and identify barriers to reducing energy, costs and greenhouse gas emissions in Cumberland County.
The ideas gathered from Power Hours will form the foundation of a Cumberland County energy and climate plan, which will inform the ways in which municipalities, their communities and the private sector conserve, generate, use and diversify energy in the County. It will focus on priority measures to reduce energy, greenhouse gas emissions and costs 17% by 2017.
It is our hope that Power Hours will take place all across the region in a wide variety of settings to capture a broad cross-section of our community. We hope Power Hours will “go viral” – you could host one with your Neighborhood Association, for example, and one of the participants could decide to host one in her church, and so on… In this way we can start the conversation and create the network to turn words into actions.
After having participated in a Power Hour, you will be equipped to host your own Power Hour with your friends, neighbors, co-workers, fellow club members, etc.

Directions:
From Pleasant Street/Route 1 in Brunswick, turn at the light onto River Road (Hyundai dealer — used to be Saturn dealer — is on the corner).
Continue on River Road 4.3 miles, and turn left onto Hacker Road.
Stay on Hacker 1.1 miles, then look for Echo Road and the Two Echo Community sign on the left.
Turn left onto Echo Road, observing slow speed limit.
When you get to Two Echo, you'll stop at the stop sign and see a sign to help you decide which way to go based on the address of the folks you've come to visit:
Common House, 88 - 96 and 127 Two Echo Road: go straight and park in the central lot.
