Spark Social - Monthly Meetup for Startups & Enterprising People in Peterborough

Spark Social is a free social networking event that takes place on the third Thursday of each month at Allia Future Business Centre. It's for anyone who is thinking of starting a business or for anyone who is running a company less than 3 years old. So if you are an enterprising entrepreneur, innovator, founder, problem-solver, startup, someone with an idea (or a partially-formed one!) do come along!

Spark Social is completely free so do stop by for a beer, glass of wine or juice as well as a selection of nibbles.

We have two exciting speakers lined up this month who will be providing short, fun, presentations on topics that will help you be more productive. The talks will start at 5:30pm.

Jon Torrens: Effective Pitches & PresentationsJon’s worked as a designer (and experienced the joy of deadlines) at games companies including Sony and Criterion, and as a professional stand-up comic for a few years, so he knows how to engage and motivate.

Eileen Lennon: Creating a TribeEileen has been involved in the enterprise and business development sector for 15 years, with a particular expertise in female entrepreneurship, has run her own business and been CEO of a social enterprise.

The aim of Spark Social is to help form a collaborative network of enterprising people in Peterborough with a view to helping more people create successful startups and growing, scalable, businesses.

To find us: Enter the Peterborough United Football Ground site and you will see signs to the Allia Future Business Centre at the back of the site. There is plenty of free parking outside the building and the football club.
