Vital Care Services offers comprehensive solutions for the growing healthcare service delivery market. Vital Care was established when it became evident there was a need to implement cost-effective solutions for health and wellness care delivery personalized to individual needs in their own living setting. The company’s solutions ensure that patients stay healthy, follow their designed care plans, and avoid costly hospital re-admissions and ER visits.
Using advanced, portable, consumer friendly telehealth technology, healthcare providers can interact with their remote-location patients as often as necessary, and implement a customizable regimen to match each patient’s individual needs. The innovative telehealth software running on commercial tablets is simple to operate for patients with no prior computer experience. These Wi-Fi or 4G enabled cellular tablets relay vital sign measurements, personalized daily questions, medication reminders, and clinical advice immediately through encrypted and HIPAA compliant messaging from secure servers. The patient is connected anywhere, and at anytime to a healthcare provider.
Chris Gaur is in charge of sales and marketing for Vital Care Services. Before co-founding Vital Care, Chris worked three years in the telehealth industry. He is a licensed volunteer New York State Emergency Medical Technician. Chris graduated from The Lubin School of Business at Pace University and received his BBA in Marketing. Millions of Medicare patients walk into their pharmacy concerned about their Medicare plan coverage and how to save money. Pharmacists have the expertise to help them more than an insurance broker or a social worker can due to the complexities around Step Therapy, Prior Authorization, and Quantity Limits different plans require. We’ve seen time and time again how pharmacies that take the time to sit down and help patients see the highest profit returns. We make it easy to navigate the complexity of Medicare for your patients, show you preferred networks you are (and are not) in, and which plan reimburses your pharmacy best (and worst). Best of all, we are on an iPad, making it easy for you to market this service even outside of your pharmacy, in nursing homes or retirement communities!
Flaviu Simihaian is the CEO of iMedicare, which was in the last class of the Blueprint Health Accelerator. Flaviu has an Economics B.A. from Davidson College and an M.A. in Software Engineering from UNC Charlotte. Prior to iMedicare, he led social entrepreneurship startup eval.me (http://eval.me/), taught Computer Science, and played on the professional tennis tour, breaking the top 1300.
