Open Mic-a-lele at The Ukulele Place!

Jeff Hanna & Barbara Gail, owners of The Ukulele Place at The Rhythm Inlet, invite you to our latest monthly event, an open mic. We call it an Open Mic-a-lele! Since adding the Open Mics to our monthly Ukulele Sing 'n' Strum Alongs, they've become so popular that it was time to give them their own event.

Our first Open Mic-a-lele was in January. We were impressed by how many ukulele friends signed up to share their musical joy -- whether a work-in-progress or a more finished piece. What touched us most was that even more friends attended to listen to & support their fellow ukers.

All instruments welcome. (Well, almost, sorry trap-set drummers, no room!) The only requirement is that at least one ukulele needs to be included in the act!

You're invited to present your latest creation, rough or polished. It's a safe place to give it a try, so come on out & play. Or play the equally important role of audience! Welcome all listeners & toe-tappers.

There will be a brief orientation to the place & equipment at the beginning. At the end of the evening, Jeff will lead a roundtable discussion with anyone who cares to share about performance tips & techniques, for any & all interested.

We have a P.A. with effects, condenser & dynamic mics, stands & cables, music stands, & chairs.
