Backstage Pass at the Smithsonian Libraries

Details

Backstage at the Smithsonian Libraries is part of Wikipedia Loves Libraries, an international Library and Wikipedia lovefest that goes from October through early November.

This event comprises three components: New Editor Training, Backstage Pass to the National Museum of Natural History, and an Editathon. If you have a laptop please bring it, there are a few desktops in the Museum's library but they are a little separated from the rest of the group.

Since the event takes place in a backstage portion of the museum security requires the names of the people coming, if you don't want to reveal your name email it to one of the organizers along with what user you are signing under. Also, please don't forget to bring a Photo ID to get through security the day of! Because the name list needs to get to security before the event and the number of people will be restricted, those interested in coming should sign up as soon as possible, registration will close October 11 or when 20 people have signed up, whichever comes first.

For more detailed information on the event, including fleshed out schedule and tour information please go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/WLL/2012 .
