Our theme this month: Courtesy becomes steadiness of feeling.

We anticipate some of our regular patients to attend this session but we are also very open to patients and family members we haven't met yet. Spread the word and invite your friends and neighbors. It seems like almost everyone is just next door to someone with cancer! We want to work together on the themes each month to approach this illness with strength and courage no matter what stage each of us is at. Our group is founded to support one another and also to support the group so that we always have the bigger picture in mind. If we get too small and self centered we will never get free. The conventional medical system has the intention to treat and to eradicate the cancer; however, the patient and the family really know what it means to try to live with all the aspects of the illness and that many times it is no longer treatable by conventional means. We will talk about things others have found useful, about nutrition, about meditation, about finding peace and harmony with ourselves and with our loved ones. I have been treating cancer patients with supportive care for about 20 years and now I thought it would be a time to get the patients to teach each other. Their stories are so rich and inspiring!

We look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
