VENoM is abbreviated denomination for the JavaScript stack for VueJS, ExpressJS, NodeJS and MongoDB. The stack is a Free and Open Source JavaScript software stack for building dynamic web sites and web applications. As a part of the VENoM series, we will be having a series of talks on the stack and related technologies.
REST stands for Representational State Transfer. It is an architectural style design for distributed hypermedia, or an Application Programming Interface (API). In REST, we use various standard HTTP methods like GET, POST, PUT and DELETE to perform any CRUD operation on resource. In this talk, we will be exploring how to create APIs in this architecture with ExpressJS and NodeJS. We will also explore the good practices in creating REST APIs.
