VENoM is abbreviated denomination for the JavaScript stack for VueJS, ExpressJS, NodeJS and MongoDB. The stack is a Free and Open Source JavaScript software stack for building dynamic web sites and web applications. As a part of the VENoM series, we will be having a series of talks on the stack and related technologies.
This talk is about creating REST API Services using NodeJS, expressJS using mongoDB as the database. We will be learning how to use various standard HTTP methods like GET, POST, PUT and DELETE to perform any CRUD operation on mongoDB. We will also explore the good practices in creating REST APIs using node, express and mongoDB.

Pre-requisites:
Basics of JS, Node and Express is appreciated but it is not mandatory. This is a beginner friendly session and involves hands-on coding. Please bring your own device so as to code along.
