English-Japanese Language exchange / 日本語・英語言語交換イベント

[About the event]

We are holding an English-Japanese language exchange event at Kizuna Club.
We would like to practice self-introductions in English and Japanese, play some simple games, chat with each other.Please feel free to come and join us who wants to make friends, learn languages seriously and so on. You are welcome to join us alone or with your friends.
We have coffee/tea and snacks ready. You are welcome to bring what you want to drink and eat.

Participation fee: $5
Please bring cash on the day.

We are borrowing a classroom from Step Ahead Learning, which has an office in Metropolis.
(In Metropolis Shopping Mall. 4th floor, room 463)

How to get to the room

Please go to UNIQLO on the Ground Level If you don't know where to go and contact us at the address below.
(H&M, Forever 21, Victoria's Secret are nearby UNIQLO.)

[Requests to participating members]

For first-time participants, please write down your real name and phone number at the reception desk and show your photo ID. It's for the safety and security of other members and to continue to use of Step Ahead Learning's classrooms. Thank you for understanding.

The organizer for this time is…

Hiroki

He has been to 4 English speaking countries for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training.
He has a Japanese English teacher’s certificate for grade 7 to 12, so he taught Japanese students who don’t familiarize society in Japan.
He commutes to a public school to learn both design and development for web and mobile in post degree diploma program in Vancouver. In his life in Vancouver, he enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while keeping himself busy with his school assignments.

メトロポリスにオフィスを構えるStep Ahead Learningさんのお教室をお借りしています。
（メトロタウンショッピングモール内。フロア(4階)の463号室）

今回主催するのは...

Hiroki

ブラジリアン柔術のトレーニングキャンプで英語圏4ヵ国に渡航経験がある。中学、高校の英語の教員免許を所持し日本では社会に馴染めなかった子を相手に日本の大学生の時より教育業界に従事。バンクーバーでは地元の公立カレッジの大卒者向けプログラムでプログラミングとデザインを学び、課題に追われながらブラジリアン柔術の練習の日々を過ごす。

高橋容子先生
クラブの活動を会場の提供という形で支えてくれる幼児教室の校長
親子留学の経験もあり、バンクーバー在住歴はトータルで15年。
小学校教育や保育士、心理学、セラピストなどの資格を持ち、クラブ参加者のお母さん的存在です。
