This is a urban hike so hiking shoes are not needed. Please bring water

We will begin the hike with a flat walk along Silver Lake Reservoir to get warmed up before we begin ascending up the hills through neighborhoods that have some of Silver Lake's most beautiful homes that are considered treasured architectural gems. This hike will be interrupted by 5 hidden staircases and towering views of Downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains as well as the surrounding hills in Silver Lake. The last part of the hike will be along the Silver Lake Reservoir to cool down before ending up where we begin. The hike is about 5 miles.
