Preliminary Book Club Meeting

The YCLN would like to organize a book club around the theme of social justice and non-profit governance. Books will be primarily non-fiction or essays but creative ideas for appropriate novels are encouraged.

The preliminary meeting is to share ideas and choose the first book. Possible nominees include:

• How To Change The World : Social Entrepreneurs And The Power Of New Ideas, Updated Edition, By David Bornstein
• Five Good Ideas: Practical Strategies for Non-Profit Success, By Alan Broadbent, Ratna Omidvar
• Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Journey to Change the World (or the Jon Krakauer critique)

All are welcome. Please encourage others to attend. We can also choose a different venue for the next get-together.
