Hello, Ladies that UX Milan community!

We are back for the first event of 2023! 🎉

This is an event in collaboration between Ladies that UX Milan and UX/UI Designer Italia in which we will take a closer look at the world of UX in Italy with a lens on salaries and growth opportunities.

As designers, we often ask ourselves about our careers: do we want to evolve into all-around unicorns or specialize in a particular aspect of design? Do we want to take on the role of expert contributors or hone our leadership skills?

In designing our own path, we often compare ourselves with other more senior figures, look for role models, attend events and ask for help from mentors.

In all these conversations, there is one topic that is more difficult than others to deal with, and somewhat uncomfortable: money and salary negotiation.

On Friday, January 27, we will tackle the topic head-on, bringing to light its relationship with other issues that are as much discussed as they are sensitive, such as the impostor syndrome, the gender gap, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.

After a short introduction in which the hosts will explore the theme from the peculiar perspective of the two communities, we will start a generative workshop, where participants will be asked to propose topics that are dear to them, which will then be explored in small discussion groups.

This event is hosted by Talent Garden Calabiana, the workshop will be followed by a small aperitif with networking. 🥂
