Hi all,

Following on the great feedback from the launch of the Mobile Learning we have started putting together the agenda for our next meet up. We are happy to announce the full schedule for the August event.

Speaker slot 1: Peter O'Shaughnessy is a developer in Pearson's Future Technologies team. He researches emerging technology opportunities for Pearson's business units and develops prototype applications. He will discuss for 10 mins "Time to Hack: Creating a Mobile, Social App for Learning in 32 Hours"

Speaker slot 2: Christopher Sutton is the director of Easy Ear Training, which uses iOS apps and innovative web content to make learning music more fun, easy and effective. He will talk about how the company's aural skills apps for musicians have turned pain and strain into "Love to train!"

Speaker slot 3: Mariam Mathew is the High School Technology Coordinator at The American School in London. Her role allows her to work with a variety of the school's constituents and to face the challenges of implementing mobile technologies in the classroom. She will discuss for 10 minutes "Challenges in the Classroom: Taking it forward with mobile learning in education"

The Mobile Learning Meetup is a monthly networking event in central London that offers all interested in mobile learning the chance to discuss mobile trends and developments in education, application development, educational games and a community of experts over some food and drink.
