HappyMobile Learning Month.
This month is dedicated to all things mobile so come along and share your experiences.
We are happy to have confirmed the following speaker slots:
Speaker slot 1: Julia Bateson Head teacher of an Ed Tech Study Support Centre, a Local Authority Education Adviser and the East of England Study Support Regional Coordinator is going to present on "PlanetExcite – changing lives through game design"
Julia is co-founder and MD of Excite-ed, a social enterprise ed tech start up company dedicated to bringing digital technology teaching into schools and youth settings via online game design and app development with 7-18year olds. Excite-ed's first app, Simple Salah, came out spring 2012 and will be followed by Cyberbully World this summer. Julia currently focuses on providing aspirational experiences to increase the wellbeing and achievement of children in educational settings.
Speaker slot 2: Nadia Abdelrahman is an international business development expert with over 15 years experience in building new markets for multi-national companies in the field of digital education. Nadia has recently founded One2World Education (Ltd), a company that design and bring together innovative digital solutions to meet complex global educational challenges and to serve the diverse needs of students, teachers and administrators around the world. Nadia will be presenting on "Education for a New Era', discussing how M-Learning is transforming education around the world'.
