Meeting location:
*Please note that the meeting place is approximately 40 minutes outside of Asheville! Meet in front of Pisgah Inn at the passenger drop-off area, benches in front of Pisgah Inn Restaurant and Cafe, 408 Blue Ridge Parkway, Canton, NC 28716
Additional Information
Guests drive a personal vehicle to the meeting location and can carpool once meeting. Guests bring their own water and lunch.
Tour time:
Meet your guide at 10:00 am at Pisgah Inn, guests bring lunch to eat around noon, and the tour ends around 2:00 pm with the option to leave early at 1:00 pm.
Difficulty:
Easy to moderate forest walk. Expect gentle inclines with uneven terrain.
More details:
Required footwear: Sturdy tennis shoes or hiking boots. Recommended clothing: Wear multiple layers, including a jacket, as temperatures drop at higher elevations. Bring rain gear as needed. Recommended personal items: Water and lunch.
