How did you hear about us?

I joined Paradise City Readers in Northampton, and got on its Meetup Page. I specified that I was also interested in Science Fiction, and the Western MA Sci-Fi page popped up.

What are your main sci-fi film interests?

I enjoy well-made movies with good story lines such as the Lord of the Rings trilogy or 2001.

What are your favorite sci-fi TV shows?

What are your favorite sci-fi books or authors?

Roger Zelazny is one of my favorite authors. I like just about anything he has written. I also like Neal Stephenson very much, especially "Snow Crash" and "Cryptonomicon". I also love Ursula K. Le Guin and Marion Zimmer Bradley's "Darkover" novels and Harlan Ellison stories. I really, really, really enjoy "The Algebraist" by Iain M. Banks and Neil Gaiman's short stories and his novel, "American Gods." That's just a subset of the books I love - just what comes to mind. I'm sure I could think of others, given time.

I like all sorts of Science Fiction - classics (Asimov, Heinlein), Silverberg, Connie Willis, Dan Simmons, you name it!
