Grover Beach Social Trail Walk

Let’s get outdoors and Move!

Part of my weekly self care is to go to Grover Beach and walk the boardwalk and then the beach back. I would love to have company and do this as a group activity. Please join me!

RAIN OR BAD WEATHER CANCELS

This will be a fast paced loop, around 2 miles, over a variety of terrains. Depending on the tide, you may need to make a water crossing on the beach. Be prepared and wear shoes you don’t mind getting sandy. We will walk both the boardwalk and the beach.

• Time: 12pm
• Where: 25 W Grand Ave, Grover Beach, CA 93433
• Distance: around 2 miles
• Pace: Moderate / power walking
• Elevation Gain: minimal
• Wear: Shoes that you don't mind getting sandy and possibly wet.
• Bring: Layers, depending on the weather conditions.

We will meet at the picnic tables, just north of the bathrooms in between Finns restaurant and the public golf course. We will promptly head north along the beach boardwalk trail and head to the monarch butterfly Groves. The monarch butterfly circle will give us a turnaround point and we will then return along the beach on the sand.

Afterwards Finn’s is a great place for lunch for anyone who wants to continue the mingling.

Since this is an outdoor event the event maybe cancelled due to weather (fog, rain, strong wind, etc). If that happens event will be rescheduled and a notification will be sent out.

Please keep in mind the hosts are not tour guides and please use all caution as if you were alone. While our goal is to keep everyone safe the hosts do not assume any legal responsibility.

*Note Meetup is not a free platform for hosts. Hosts pay $49 monthly (lowest plan offered) to be able to have groups and hosts events. Some groups charge a membership fee however I want everyone who wants to attend to be able to do so despite any financial restraints. So I do not charge a mandatory fee to be part of the group. However donations are greatly appreciated. $2-5/per person at events would be greatly appreciated to help cover costs. However this is optional and open to all members to participate.
