Mid Week Beach Walk & Networking

Let’s get moving and enjoy our local outdoor spaces!

Our first event was a success and we had a great turnout. Let’s keep up the momentum for our new group.

We will meet at the picnic tables, just north of the bathrooms in between Finns restaurant and the public golf course. We will promptly head north along the beach boardwalk trail and head to the monarch butterfly Groves. The monarch butterfly circle will give us a turnaround point and we will then return along the beach on the sand.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. I recommend wearing layers and wearing shoes that you don’t mind getting sandy and possibly wet for when we walk on the sand when heading back. I don’t consider this a power walk but we will keep a moderate pace.

Afterwards Finn’s is a great place for lunch for anyone who wants to continue the mingling.

Since this is an outdoor event the event maybe cancelled due to weather (fog, rain, strong wind, etc). If that happens event will be rescheduled and a notification will be sent out.

Please keep in mind the hosts are not tour guides and please use all caution as if you were alone. While our goal is to keep everyone safe the hosts do not assume any legal responsibility.

*Note Meetup is not a free platform for hosts. Hosts pay $49 monthly (lowest plan offered) to be able to have groups and hosts events. Some groups charge a membership fee however I want everyone who wants to attend to be able to do so despite any financial restraints. So I do not charge a mandatory fee to be part of the group. However donations are greatly appreciated. $2-5/per person at events would be greatly appreciated to help cover costs. However this is optional.
