BUS TRIP TO LAKE JACKSON'S FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Lake Jackson Festival of Lights—- FREE

Let’s kick off the holiday season with a carnival, games, crafts, shopping, parade and more. Saturday is the main day of the festival , featuring many Christmas themed events for everyone. Many community performances will be taking place throughout the day on the main stage. At 7 pm the annual Parade of Lights will start winding its way through downtown.

Planned Itinerary:

The bus will leave Wal-Mart (155 Louetta Xing, Spring) at 11 a.m.

Our first stop will be lunch at 12:30 pm at The Grape Taste Restaurant in Lake Jackson. You can review the menu at thegrapetaste.net. After lunch, everyone will be on their own visiting the sounds and sounds of the festival. There is a Christmas Around the World Display at the Museum., Live Performances on Stage at the Civic Center, Craft Booths, Shopping, Winter Wonderland and Carnival to Enjoy.

If you want, you can return to The Grape Taste for wine tasting and relaxation before the Parade begins at 7 p.m. We can decide what time during lunch.
Wine flights will be discounted and appetizers are half priced.

The Bus will leave Lake Jackson at 8:30 pm and should arrive back at Wal-Mart around 10 p.m.

This will be a very long day trip. We can skip the parade and leave Lake Jackson earlier if everyone agrees.
