Paws and Reflect: Kitten Yoga is the Cat's Meow!

Join me at the Everett Animal Shelter for an event where fitness and relaxation meets cuteness and cuddles!

Our friends at Mahad Yoga in Lake Stevens will be teaching a 45-minute beginner-friendly yoga class and you can enjoy a litter of our cutest, fluffiest kittens. After yoga, you'll enjoy another 45 minutes interacting with the kittens. 100% of all proceeds will go towards the care of our homeless animals.

Cost: $45 per ticket

Details:

• Saturday, August 15th at 9am at Everett Animal Shelter - 333 Smith Island Rd., Everett, WA 98201
• Please bring your own yoga mat or towel and bottled water.
• All participants must be 18+ years of age or 10+ years old with an
  accompanying adult.
• Kittens have sharp claws and teeth, you may consider wearing
  long pants and sleeves in case they get really friendly!
• Kittens will not be available for adoption at Kitten Yoga.
• No yoga experience necessary - the class is beginner-friendly.
• All participants will be required to sign a waiver.
• Spots are limited due to space restrictions.

📚☕ Silent Reading at Frost Bakery – Mill Creek

Take a break from the busyness of the week and enjoy a peaceful evening of reading with fellow book lovers.

📍 Where: Frost Bakery, Mill Creek
📅 When: Sunday
🕓 Time: 4:00–6:00 PM

How it works:

• Bring whatever book you’re currently reading or audiobook with headphones.
• Arrive at 4:00 to settle in, grab a coffee, tea, pastry, or other treat from Frost Bakery, and get comfortable.
• Then enjoy about an hour of quiet reading together, and then leave time at the end to relax, chill, and chat.

No assigned books. No pressure to socialize. Just a cozy, welcoming space to unplug and read alongside others.
