Let’s take the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, and attend the Kingston, Cove Christmas lighting festivities. The festivities includes Santas arrival to the port, greeted by hundreds of unique light sculptures across the park and on boats. There’s something for everyone with live music, including “Elvis,” sing-along, a holiday. spirits beer garden, with fire pits, and lots of activities.

The Washington ferry shows that there is a $9.90 round-trip seniors over 65 years of age fee and for anybody 19 to 64 years the price is $19.70 for round-trip. We are doing a walk on the ferry in Edmonds so we won’t be taking any vehicles over. Then we will be walking off as the festivities are right near the ferry dock.

There will be considerable walking and we are hoping for good weather, But this is Washington, so you never know.

My understanding is that there are food trucks, and places to get food while we are there at the festivities.

The plan is to catch the ferry approximately 3:30-3:55 PM and then to catch the ferry coming back sometime after 7:30 PM. Watch the ferry schedules for any changes on the timing of the boats.

Dress warm and let’s plan on having a fun time. We can meet when we get on the ferry and we can either gather or do things individually!
