Tai Chi

Details

We know that movement is one of the most important factors in remaining healthy as we age. In the winter, if you don't like to be cold, it can be a challenge to get moving. Tai chi is a gentle, low-impact exercise in which practitioners perform a series of deliberate, flowing motions while focusing on deep, slow breaths. It is a method of movement that cultivates a form of power that has no boundaries. This Chinese art and calisthenic system can be deemed as the ultimate source and limit of reality from which spring YIN and YANG and all of creation. My husband is an instructor of this beautiful practice and offers a FREE class at The Whitefish Community Center (gratuity will be appreciated). We would love for you to join us and try it out. If you like it, you can sign up for regular classes. He also offers classes (to which you will need to commit to and pay for - after your first trial) at his studio, The Sawbuck Do Jang as well. It is posted as a separate event. Look him up at The Sawbuck Do Jang in Whitefish.
