What we’re about
Open to 50+ women...but most of us are 60+. We are a group of active, fun loving, and young at heart women. We are women who want to have fun and leave the drama behind. We get together for coffee, lunches, dinners, games, plays, festivals, book club, day trips, holiday festivities, etc. This is a social group. We do not allow business networking. This group is open to married, single, divorced, and widowed women, but keep in mind this is a women's group...we rarely (if ever) invite husbands along. We welcome members from all over the Charlotte area, but the majority of our events are located in the South Charlotte vicinity. Your face must be displayed in your profile picture. New members will not be accepted unless we can see who you are. This avoids future issues. We charge $10.00 (non-refundable) for annual dues after a 30-day trial period. Members can be removed by organizers for any reason they see fit.
One of our policies is to maintain positive relationships with active members and local businesses. Therefore too many "NO SHOWS" and/or cancellations received in less than 24 hours before scheduled events may result in a member being removed from this group. Members who have not visited the group site in three months or more may also be removed. This is to keep our membership current and ensure the group stays manageable with interested and active members. We also ask that if you cannot attend an event that you have RSVP’d “yes” too, please change your RSVP to “no” as soon as you know you won’t be able to attend. That way our host will know not to look/wait for you at the event.
