Inspired by the $1,000 Breakfast Club where every few months a group of 10 friends in Massachusetts, meet for breakfast and leave the server a generous $1,000 tip ($100 from everyone).
My spin is to meet for brunch in the San Jose area where I will pitch in $100 and other participants will chip in $80 each, or more, and give to the unsuspecting server as a tip. Please keep in mind that this is good cause, random act of kindness type group so if you don't wish to contribute $80 plus at each event, I encourage you to not sign up as this is the whole purpose of the group.
