Afternoon Cardio Hike: Piedra Lisa South (4 miles)

Be prepared for potential snow and ice on the trail. Please bring micro spikes just in case if you have them.
Join me on this hike up Piedra Lisa South to the saddle about 2 miles in to a dedicated turnaround point. At approximately 11:30am we still starting heading back down and gather anyone maintaining a slower pace on the way. Please see the bottom of the description for a link to a roughly equivalent AllTrails hike
Piedra Lisa trailhead is off Forest Service Rd 333. Instead of making right to head towards La Luz trailhead, you go straight and follow the dirt road until the trailhead parking lot on the left.
Distance: 4 miles
Elevation gain: 1200 feet

Cardio hikes are designed for all paces. The goal is to have the opportunity to improve fitness and prepare for longer day hikes. You will likely find hikers with a similar pace, but may also find yourself hiking alone, particularly if you have not been hiking recently. Being familiar with the trail in advance is strongly encouraged. Please contact me directly or post in the comments if you have questions.
