Join us for an evening uncovering the shadowy past of Albuquerque's streets as local historian Cody Polston launches his compelling new book.
Beneath the vibrant culture of modern Albuquerque lies a darker history waiting to be told. Discover a time when the city's first red-light district thrived, public hangings drew crowds of onlookers, and treasure hunters searched for rumored riches under dusty streets. Learn about the mysterious Confederate cannons unearthed beneath a chile patch and the unmarked graves of soldiers from a forgotten occupation.
This is an outdoor event; please dress accordingly. Local craft beer available for purchase (credit card only). No food available on site; please feel free to bring your own food to this event.
We will be getting there at 6:30 and bringing carry out for dinner. The talk will begin at 7.
