Stone Hill Book Drive Collection *FINAL OPPORTUNITY* & Blood Drive Meeting

Last year's book drive was wildly successful so we're doing it again this year!
Final day to donate will be the May meeting.

Children's books will be donated to Kids and Canines as part of their "Furry Tales" program in which children and those kids with reading problems read aloud to the dogs. This builds confidence in the reader and gives the dogs the opportunity to practice their sit/stay skills.

The remainder of the books donated will go to veterans: the VA hospital and overseas to our troops. The full donation will be made in coordination with Memorial Day.

If you could separate the books into kids and adult, and include a count of each type, that would help out immensely.

Stone Hill is a non-profit organization responsible for hosting NecronomiCon & Southern Media Convention. We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month and the rotating location is provided by the generosity of members. Attendees usually begin showing up about 2pm and the meeting is called to order roughly around 4pm. Most meetings are not longer than 30 min to 1 hour, depending on the agenda.

We only have two rules to be a Stone Hill Member:

1. Show Up
2. Bring Food

Also, we have a long standing tradition that if you suggest something, YOU had better be willing to run it. Because the meetings are at member homes... if you get out of your chair; it's fair game for anyone.
