Explorium (http://go.explorium.cn/) is a mall in Shanghai that is serving as a laboratory for the rapid testing of omnichannel business strategies in a realistic environment. It is an initiative of the Fung Group, aiming for businesses to rapidly test new omni-channel models, strategies, and technologies. It serves two primary objectives: to create a culture of experimentation within retail organizations, and to discover new retail propositions that meet the demands of the omni-enabled consumer.

About the speakers:

Dr. Leonard Lane, Managing Director Fung Academy & Group Director Leadership Development, Fung Group.

Dr. Lane is responsible for overall direction and implementation of the Fung Group Leadership Academy and the Group's Senior Leadership Development programs. Leonard is a seasoned international management consultant and manger with over forty seven years of consulting and leadership experience with a strong background in supply chain and integrated logistics.

Richard Kelly, Chief Catalyst, Fung Group.

Based in Shanghai, his role was to work with clients to identify, create and realize new opportunities, and build innovation capabilities. Clients include TCL Corporation, Fotile Kitchenware, Singapore Ministry of Manpower, and one of the world’s largest energy companies. He is also a council member of the first board committee of College of Design and Innovation at Tongji University and part of the organizing team for TEDx Shanghai.

Paul Wong, VP of Innovation, Explorium.

Paul Wong is the VP of Innovation at Explorium with strong interest in how technologies can be used to transform traditional businesses. Paul has a diversified background, starting his career as open-source developer and moving into supply chain management with various roles. He is currently with the Fung Group, managing the Explorium, a platform that brings innovative minds and brands together to explore the future of retail.

Yaniv Corem, Entrepreneur in Residence, Fung Academy.

Yaniv Corem is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Fung Academy and founder at NUKADIMA, an innovation catalyst committed to helping entrepreneurs brings world changing ideas to life. Yaniv was a member of the Social Technologies Group at IBM Research and later served as a Visiting Scientist at the MIT Media Lab. Yaniv holds a B.Arch from the Technion and a dual MS from MIT.

Adir Zimerman, is a multicultural entrepreneur, having lead businesses all around the globe, a seasoned executive with technological expertise. Adir possesses extensive operational and hands-on development experience. In his current role, Adir serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of SCREEMO, a location-based O2O marketing platform that helps brands to engage consumers by using location and mobile based gamified experiences in retail stores, QSRs, cinema etc. to create a call to action on the customer's mobile. In this role, he successfully transformed SCREEMO from an idea into a global company that operates in Europe, APAC and North America, with well-known companies such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola, SAP and more.

Dancing With Elephants - session description:

Adir will talk about his extensive experience of cooperating with large global corporations such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Publicis, SAP and more. He will give his insights and best practices and will share his personal story of how in a short amount of time, and with a small amount of money, he went from being an ex-Israeli air force major to CEO and co-founder of a global startup that works in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific by 'Dancing With Elephants'.
