Open Heart Meditation meetup

Details
Welcome to Open Heart Meditation. Where you will learn all about your spiritual heart and how to use it in meditation. There are many benefits from practicing meditation and it can only take a few minutes to feel the benefits. Meditation has been used for centuries by many different cultures and has many different positive benefits. Some of the benefits noted by many are that it helps you to stay stress free, helps you appreciate and enjoy your life more, reduces aging, helps you form deeper and more fulfilling connections with others, allows you to be fully present in the moment, improves your brain function, focus and attention span, increases immunity and health, and helps you to have a good nights sleep, to name but a few. There are many types of meditation techniques which teach you how to use the mind or will power to control the breath or focus the mind, sometimes chanting, visualizations or imagination. All of these meditation techniques use the brain and our own effort to control ourselves by focusing our consciousness and using the mind which can be challenging to master for those with an active mind. What makes Open heart Meditation different is that we do not use any of our own effort whilst meditating or use our mind, instead we use our heart to connect into true feelings of peace and calmness from deep within our spiritual heart and allow those feelings to cleanse our heart and mind of all that is bothering us. It is a remarkably simple, yet highly effective way of quietening the busyness within us and is centered on the “feeling” from our heart rather than on brain-oriented visualizations or breathing techniques, making this practice purely experiential. Open Heart Meditation has helped many people to reduce their stress levels and healed them on a deep internal level, enabling them to cope better emotionally and allowing the natural healing process to happen much more quickly. In addition, this practice is universal and non-denominational. This is not a serious practice that involves hard work or any sort of effort whatsoever. It should feel light, gentle, peaceful, effortless…and fun! Want to know more?
