Friday is not a holiday, so metered street parking will cost you. However, since there are no classes Friday, you can find plenty of unmetered street parking in the neighborhood. I'd start on Seaview Ave, and then try Hunnewell St.

Don't try to park on campus; it's not a UH holiday despite there being no classes.
