Nataniël launched his solo career in 1987 with the release of his first single. Since then he has released 19 albums, staged more than 80 original theatre productions and published 19 books. Over the past 3 decades he has not only established himself as singer, songwriter, producer, director, designer and public speaker, but also as South Africa's leading exponent of the solo stage act. An outspoken and often controversial figure, he continuously crosses over from the alternative circuit to the main stage, generating extensive media coverage and a massive cult following. His popular 'Kaalkop' column has been appearing in SARIE magazine for the past 17 years. Nataniël manages his own production company, Nataniël House Of Music, is the creator of the Kaalkop Lifestyle range of products, and also heads his own charitable foundation, The Nataniël Progress Project. Nataniël has never been famous for singing love songs. He is known to sing about life, death, pleasure, war, peace, individuality, family, ghosts, weight loss, personal convictions, faith, doubts and bravery, but hardly ever about being in love. In this special and somewhat unique show he will be performing The Love Collection, a program of his personal choice of the most unusual, timeless and original love songs. Nataniël - always fresh, original and authentic. PLEASE NOTE: AN EVENT FEE OF R 10.00 WILL APPLY. Concertgoers are taken on a special musical journey performed by a star-studded line-up of international and local artists and musicians, while enjoying gourmet picnics under the stars. They are always backed by an impressive large orchestra. Through these concerts, RMB has helped to discover and nurture some of the best emerging talent in South Africa. Bookings through Computicket, WITH THIS CODE: RCME Enquiries: Richard Cock Music Enterprises Tel:[masked] - [masked] We normally park across the road at the SABC, and schlepp our own picnics and chairs along. Although everything starts off nice, chirpy and sunny, it gets freezing COLD later in the evening (remember the snow in Johannesburg in September 1980??!)! So don't forget your blankie, beenie, gloves, hip flask, coffee flask and warm stuff! And of course, bring enough food, drink and snacks to keep you going for a few hours... People who want to try hook up to car pool to save on the parking fee (and arrange for dedicated driver! :) :)) can put their requests or suggestions out on this platform - in the comments section below.
Bryanston Sports Club has established itself firmly as a 50+FUN ZONE favourite venue over the past few months. This safe location has a lively vibe, and a solid reputation for good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Friendly sports people are always crowding the place and welcome strangers warmly. On this occasion they are celebrating the onset of Spring in South Africa with a dinner / dance event that promises to be great fun and good value for money. So dress up (prizes for best dressed people!), don your dancing shoes and mosey on over to the Bryanston Sports Club (be careful not to land up at the Bryanston Country Club - very confusing!). Live music will be courtesy of The Spillage People Rock Band. BOOKING ESSENTIAL! Tickets and enquiries: Fergie -[masked] Tickets: R[masked] per person - includes a superb 3-course dinner! This event will not carry the usual event fee due to the requirement from the Organiser that patrons make their own booking arrangements. However, kindly RSVP if you would like to join the 50+ FUN ZONE table.
