No intro necessary! We know this venue well, and the good news is they are back to their original value offerings of good food at reasonable prices, a laid-back vibe created by the live music, but perhaps most importantly: good service (this was the factor that made many of us loyal fans take our business elsewhere about a year ago).

Especially for those of us who live alone and don't cook, like me: The Sunday roast! Of course, the full a la carte menu is available as well.

So according to the management, the Sunday roast IS NOT A BUFFET - our meals will be plated. They include some beef and chicken, with crispy roast potatoes (aaaahhhhh man!!!) and 3 wholesome veggies. The dessert and coffee are additional. But the live music - courtesy our fave muso Nick - is starting at 15:00 and will ease us into Monday gently....

Cost: R 159.00 per plate (For pensioners like me over 65, R 89.00 (They also offer the special rate of R 99.00 per person if 4 people at the table are eating the roast).

This place fills up quickly, and they only prepare roasts for pre-bookings. Get your RSVPs in. First-come-first-served!
