24Fit Hike Club's Sunday Hike: "Orchard Camp" (Just hike to First Water 3 miles)

The Hike: This is one of the most beautiful hikes in the area. The first half of the trail is in the sun, but once we reach First Water, the remainder of the trail is in the shade. We will take a break at Orchard Camp, where we can relax and take in the surroundings.

• Breakfast consists of a shot of Mango~Aloe for good digestion, Hot or Iced Tea (4 flavors) for Energy and a 16oz Smoothie Meal replacement (35+ Flavors) with 24 grams protein to keep you full but not weigh you down.

• Cost is $7.00 cash and we donate $1.00 per paid meal to HFF to help feed and house children here and around the world.

• The Kitchen closes at 8:15 so please be on time... after that you will get a "to~go" meal. *Kosher, Gluten free and Allergen free meals available.

Miles: 7 ( 3 miles R.T. if you only go to First Water)
Approximate Hiking Time: 4 to 4.5 hours at an easy pace.
Approximate Drive Time: 15 min each way.
Difficulty Level: Moderate
Elevation Gain: 1990'

What To Bring: 2 to 3 liters of water, snacks/lunch (recommended), hiking boots or trail shoes, trekking poles (optional), bug spray, sun block and a hat, camera and a light jacket(optional).

Optional/Limited Carpooling: Free/$0.00 paid to your driver to help cover parking permit and or gas. * Please let me know if you can drive, (you will receive the carpool fees for your passengers). **Drivers must have a current California drivers licence and insurance.

***Free parking lot and street parking for anyone driving their own car to this hike.

24Fit Hike Club Policy:

Profile photo: You need to have a profile photo showing your face. This is a requirement of our group, and helps us and other hikers get to know you.

Early departure: If a hiker needs to be separated from the group for any reason, he/she must inform the event host. Not knowing a hiker's where about may prompt the event host to report the hiker as missing.

No shows: If you find you cant come to an event you "RSVP" for please change you "RSVP" status to "NO" If you consistently miss events you sign up for, you could be removed from an event or group.

Release of Liability:

*By signing up for a hike or event, you agree to the terms of this release.

The function of the organizer is only to organize this trip. Each person who signs up for a trip/hike/or event is responsible for his or her own safety and the safety of his or her guests.

The organizers of this trip are volunteers and are not professional guides (they may not be trained to handle medical emergencies). By signing up for or attending a hike or other event, you and your guests agree to NOT hold the organizers, “Just Nutrition”, "24Fit Hike Club" or any other participant liable for ANY injuries that may occur to your person or property. Hiking is an inherently dangerous activity that carries with it the risk of injuries including but not limited to: slip/trip and fall, fractures, bleeding, head injuries, heat stroke/exhaustion, snakebites, allergic reactions from poison oak and ivy and death. YOU AND YOU ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF on and off the trail. Always remember to know your own limits, stay on the trail, never hike alone, tell the organizer’s if you are leaving the group, and use your own common sense. If you accept a carpool/rideshare offer from an organizer, guest or other, you agree NOT to hold drivers responsible in any way. You acknowledge that you have carefully read this “waiver and release” and fully understand that it is a release of liability. You expressly agree to release and discharge “Just Nutrition”, "24Fit Hike Club and all affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors, guests or assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action and you agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that you may otherwise have to bring a legal action against the Just Nutrition, 24Fit Hike Club and its independent distributors for negligence, personal injury or property damage. This waiver and release will be in effect for any and all events going forward. *Note: Should any part of this agreement be found by a court of law to be against public policy or in violation of any state statute or case precedence, then only that wording is removed and the remainder of this agreement will remain in full force.
