This Tue re-designer, hacker, creator Adam Ben-Dror (http://ben-dror.com/pinokio/) is presenting about a few of his projects.

The first explores our relationship and perceptions of pet fish and looks at what role designed objects might play in challenging these perceptions.

The second project is ongoing and explores anthropocentric notions in relation to animals that we live with in our cities. In this case I am specifically interested in pigeons.

Adam is passionate about the synergy that exists between beauty and utility and creates objects that have a balance between aesthetics and functional purpose.

Adam studied Industrial Design at Victoria University, Wellington. He spent a year studying at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA where he was a member of the Visible Process Lab (http://vpl.design.cmu.edu/people) and worked as a product designer at RockPaperRobot (http://rockpaperrobot.com/).

Coffee, meet, be inspired!

Cheers,

Clem&Mash
