Urban Night Photography - Detroit - Robert DiTommaso Photography

Join Bob and a small group of photographers as he gives you hands-on training for urban night photography. As the sun goes down the city takes on a whole new look. We will gather at 7:30pm to shoot sunset, the "blue hour" and into the night.

If you want to improve your technical skills, this workshop will help you grow and learn. Bob will start the workshop off with instruction regarding shooting at night along with a "tips sheet" followed up with 1 on 1 instruction. The area around Campus Martius - offers a wide range of photographic opportunities.

The group will visit a variety of spots throughout the area and practice their photography skills during the warm evening light hours.

Detroit offers a wonderful opportunity to explore and photograph a city that is experiencing a rebirth of action and passion. Explore Detroit with Bob and capture the old and the new worlds in pictures!

Sunset is 8:20 pm that evening, so the group will have the opportunity for some Golden Hour, Blue Hour and Night Photography.

You will want to bring your camera, a variety of lenses and a tripod.

There are numerous parking garages around Campus Martius Park. The "Z" Garage or the Compuware Garage are Bob's typical go to spots.

Finding Bob

Bob will be near the fountain in Campus Martius Park. The group will be walking several blocks around the Campus Martius area. Bob's cell is 248-941-4859.
