Machine Learning within JVM

Hello community!

We are pleased to announce the second of the JVM Roundabout which will be hosted at Nexmo's office in Old Street.

The topic of the evening will be "Machine Learning within JVM" and we will be hearing from 3 fantastic speakers. Firstly we will hear from Chris Hamilton who is Technology Lead at Nexmo. Chris's presentation will be titled "Our Experiences in Applying Machine Learning PaaS APIs".

Following that will be Zinat Wali from the Bespoke Software Development Company Scott Logic who will be sharing her experience of building an ML pipeline with Scala and Spark. She will walk through some code, discuss how the technology choices have evolved over the last couple of years and how they help in different use cases.
