We are pleased to announce JVM Roundabout #13 which will be hosted by Qudini

The topic of the evening will be “Securing and Speeding Up Java Services in the Cloud"

Firstly we will hear from Qudini Louis Jackman (Security Engineer at Qudini) who will talk about how to move fast and stay secure. Looking at security from a startup's perspective, and how to ensure you're building secure software.

Secondly we will be hearing from Jason Maude (Head of Technology at Starling Bank) who will be discussing how Security is a key concern for banks today as it has always been, although the security threats today are very different from those of days past. This talk will examine how Starling Bank has integrated good security practices and patterns into its software and how they maintain security and a rapid delivery schedule at the same time.
