Building a concurrent game engine in Erlang
Details
This is a talk that I recently gave at midwest.io. It's intended to be a somewhat gentle introduction to Erlang and breaking a problem down into units of concurrency which is quite a different way to think than a typical object-oriented language would decompose into some code.
Everyone is welcome - all experience levels and backgrounds. This is a great meeting for beginners who want to dip a toe into functional programming. Dinner will be at 6:30 and we will start the talk around 7:00.
I'm thinking about not doing a livestream this month, simply because my midwest.io talk is already available here (http://youtu.be/sla-t0ZNlMU).
