Kayak, Paddleboard or Canoe - East Canyon

No one has said they want to meet at Smith's to carpool; I'll see everyone at the canyon! I drive a green Subaru Forester.

FYI - Let's fire up the grill and have a potluck meal! Here's what we have so far:

UPDATE:

I have access to 2 single person kayaks, however, I have no way to transport them. If you want to attend this event and want to use one of the kayaks, please message me. They are 10' long.

Let's enjoy playing in the water at East Canyon, having a BBQ and then stargazing. Here's what Google has to say about the stars:

Around July 19th, a notable astronomical event is the appearance of the "Cat's Eyes" in the tail of Scorpius, which are two stars (Lambda and Upsilon Scorpii) close together, with a fainter pair (Mu Scorpii) nearby according to Sky & Telescope. The tail of Scorpius will be visible low to the south after dark. Additionally, Jupiter will be visible in the upper left of Antares, and Saturn will be in the upper left of the Sagittarius Teapot.

As the date gets closer, we can determine a meeting spot to carpool and see who has equipment they will share.
