HILLBARN THEATER

# WELCOME TO HILLBARN!

Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory is one of the Bay Area’s most beloved not-for-profit theaters! We create live, award-winning theatre and conservatory education programs from our home, an intimate 179 seat theatre right in the heart of Foster City, CA. Under the guidance of Executive Artistic Director Steve Muterspaugh and Conservatory Director Sarah Jebian, as well as a staff of dedicated and diverse artists Hillbarn is committed to producing both classic and contemporary works, giving full voice to a wide range of artists and visions. Our programming is driven by the founding ideal “To create theatre with the community, for the community.”
Hillbarn is a small theater and there is no bad seat, really.
Snacks, sodas, wine available for purchase.

ABOUT THE MUSICAL:
“An inspiring jolt of energy for the whole family.”
– Variety
Based on the beloved hit film, School of Rock is a high-voltage musical celebration of music, mentorship, and finding your voice. When struggling rock musician Dewey Finn poses as a substitute teacher at an elite prep school, he secretly transforms a class of straight-A students into a mind-blowing rock band. As the students discover their confidence and creativity, they learn the power of working together and supporting one another. Packed with electrifying music, big-hearted humor, and show-stopping performances by young performers, this Broadway hit has thrilled audiences around the world and makes the perfect holiday event for families and music lovers alike.

SEATING CHART & COST

I love live theater and I miss it a lot! Hillbarn Theater is located in Foster City.
I have seen many performances over the past years and I have never, ever, ever been disappointed. However, it's been more than a decade since my last performance (shame on me, really, for I love it!). As I recall, the theater itself is quite small and cozy which means that there are no "bad seats."
I hope you can join Craig and I for this midday enchanted musical event and, maybe, an early dinner before heading back home.

TIME:
The play starts at 2:00 pm but I suggest meeting us a bit earlier to chit-chat and get to know each other with a glass of wine (the theater used to sell wine, coffee, tea... and I hope they still do).

DINNER: Reservation made for 5:00 pm
