Let's get some exercise!

Dana Point harbor is a great training course that totals just over 2 miles sand-to-sand per lap (from Baby Beach), and BONUS - you finish where you start.

This is a doable "before work" paddle for those in the area - especially if you're just doing a single lap - which usually takes just about 25-35 min depending on your speed.

Since we're in the harbor this is considered a flat water paddle (vs. open water, outside the harbors). That makes the venue great for beginners and allows intermediate paddlers to zone-out while working on that elusive, 'perfect' forward stroke or focusing on pace/fitness.

For the purposes of this group - flat water laps help you condition for the open ocean runs, especially if we keep a pace and stay focused on technique. While there's bound to be chatter - let's do it while we MOVE!

NOTE - This is a regular meetup moving forward, designed as a great way to meet group members in a low key environment (meaning, no pressure to take off on a long distance, open ocean paddle with people you've never met!)
