The Acorn

Thousand Oaks' traditional parade celebrating the city's ranching roots and strong community has been canceled for this year amid rising costs, safety concerns and outside pressures.
The Conejo Valley Days Parade-a staple in the community decades ago and one parade organizers are set on bringing back—will not go forward for 2026 after the event's major sponsor pulled out three weeks before the parade was set to take place.
