Our August Meetup is cancelled. We will reconvene in September at a location to be determined. We will also work on expanding our speakers base and discuss which meeting day is best for most of us. Several members have been unable to attend because of conflicts with our Tuesday date whereas they were frequent attendees in the past.
In September I propose that each member bring up a topic which is of interest to them and give a brief (5 minutes or so) presentation of that topic. I will present some information on Ötzi, the frozen mummy found in the Alps some years ago, who lived around 3400 BC.
There is no penalty for not bringing up a topic, but input from the group is important for our success. I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful summer.
