The evolution of mind, body and spirit is divinely designed into our heart, soul and DNA. There is no way of escaping it and the tolling of the New Year always supplies the impetus to make an effort or at the very least... give a thought or two to ways in which we can improve our lives. We often begin to do things like go to the gym, practice yoga, eat more vegetables, meditate, try being more patient and the list continues. The yoga tradition (and practice) offers profound formulas and opportunities for realizing your heartfelt desires without asking you to change who you are. This practice starts from the premise that you are already who you need to be to fulfill your life’s dharma.

So what do we do? How do we follow through and holdfast to our New Year intention beyond the first couple of hours, days or weeks? How do we pursue our goal with integrity and determination throughout the year and beyond? Let’s find out together.

Join our 2-hour afternoon session of “Setting Your Intention” as fellow yoga teachers and wellness coaches; Maggie Converse and Sophie Slater (www.lifebalancejumpstart.com (http://www.lifebalancejumpstart.com/)) help us to define our greatest hopes and aspiration for growth during the New Year.

Working together, we will lay down the groundwork necessary to walk along the path of actualization. To assist the processes, expect lots of heart opening and earth grounding postures. Along with asana practice, there will be meditation, reflection, writing and if willing, the sharing of our thoughts. Keep in mind that this is a no stress zone. Sharing is totally at your discretion.

Come relax and learn amongst friends in the warmth and beauty of our studio. All that you need to bring is a yoga mat, some good intention and an open mind. Who knows... you might actually make the improvements you've always dreamed of.
