Workshop Session: 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
This workshop will be covering several aspects of lighting, composing and directing to produce inventive and dynamic portraits.
The first section of the workshop will cover model release and how to use it to effectively grow your portrait portfolio, then we will talk about portrait poses that work, and troubleshooting various portrait situations and how to turn a tough situation into a winning image. Lastly we will walk through set-ups and hands-on experience with posing that works.
All levels of photographer have come through the workshop, as there is truly something to benefit you at every stage of the craft. The personal assistance we are able to give by keeping the class sizes small, ensure all your questions are answered and that you truly grasp the info being covered.
Learn the “What, Why and How” of creative lighting, Both in studio and on-location
Pre-Visualization, Conceptualization and creative problem solving
Learn basic modeling poses and how to create images that work
Develop your own artistic approach to composing dynamically lit and interesting portraits

Models will be providing a model release in return for 4-6 of your best images from the shoot.
