What we’re about
Five Borough Futbol Club (5BFC) - subscribe to our newsletter here - was founded in 2018 as a vehicle to sustain a player community that had formed organically playing together in various pickup games for over a decade.
Our club is committed to providing positive, well organized, healthy competition on the pitch and meaningful connection off of it. We are committed to putting our players first and to responsible stewardship of our club in order to sustain our player community in the years to come.
5BFC offers year round programming, including:
- Quality, Competitive Pick-up Games
- Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Leagues
- 1 Day Tournaments
We're a diverse group of men and women from all over the world. Some of us have been playing together for over a decade and we put great value on what we've built up together over the years. We believe in fair play, healthy competition, and inclusive community. We put on the best game in the city because we have the best people in the city. Every player on the field has something positive to contribute to each game. We do not tolerate ego, unsafe play, negativity, and toxic behavior. Players with a negative impact on the game and on the community will be warned and then banned.
