NYC BigApps DevCamp #3

Details
NYC BigApps DevCamp
- Want to create an app that will change the way New Yorkers interact with their city?
- Want to participate in a meaningful code jam?
- Have questions about submitting an app to NYC BigApps?
- Have questions about the NYC.gov Data Mine?
- Are you ready to help NYC lead an era of Open Gov in the 21st Century?
If your answer is yes to any one of those questions, you should consider attending NYC BigApps DevCamp #3 on Saturday, 21 November from Noon to Five at The Open Planning Project (RSVP below). New York City has opened up approximately 170 data sets (https://www.nyc.gov/data) for you to build upon. The NYC BigApps Competition (https://www.nycbigapps.com) is designed to facilitate government transparency and accountability and will reward the developers of the most useful, inventive, appealing, effective, and commercially viable applications with cash prizes and dinner with Mayor Bloomberg.
If you can't attend and still want to participate, suggest an app (https://www.nycbigapps.com/suggest-app) or a data set (https://www.nycbigapps.com/suggest-data) and send out a tweet with @NYCbigApps (https://twitter.com/NYCbigapps).
Saturday, 21 Nov from Noon to 5 pm.
