About the Session:
The SharePoint platform has evolved over the past 15 years. The overall capabilities and limitations of the platform have changed, and new features and services have been added. One question people still ask is, where should I put my site? Create a new sub-site, or provision a new site collection? This session will dive into the considerations for how best to organize your content to ensure that they are easy to use, easy to manage, and most importantly ready and able to take advantage of new innovations like the hub sites that continue to be introduced by Microsoft.

Speaker Bio:
A SharePoint consultant, author, and frequent speaker at community and industry conference events. Previously a 5x Microsoft SharePoint Server MVP (2010-2014) and actively involved both online and throughout the southeast United States. I have been living in the Raleigh-Durham area since 1998 and have held a number of development and consulting positions servicing clients from a range of industries. I have a strong background in both technology and process having held both strategic and tactical roles. I strive to innovate while bringing incremental change that provides a quick return on investment.
